The Youth Cancer Trust holidays take place at Tracy Ann House in Bournemouth.
Tracy Ann House is a small converted hotel situated a few minutes walk from blue flag beach Alum Chine. The house accommodates up to 8 youngsters each week from Monday to Friday. Tracy Ann House is decorated, furnished and carpeted to a high standard.
At Tracy Ann House there is a games room with a pool table, table football, professional karaoke system, PS3, Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, Keyboard and guitars.
The kitchen and laundry room have been built to maximum standards of hygiene in consultation with the Environmental Health Authority. On the first floor are six bedrooms (two en-suite) and a main bathroom. On the second floor is accommodation for staff, offices and storage space.
There is a comfy lounge with a wall mounted plasma screen, cinema surround sound, DVD player and a HiFi.
All the bedrooms have their own fridges plus CD players and TV’s so make sure you bring your own music.
The house has wireless internet access if you would like to bring your laptops.
You can use the indoor or outdoor pool, sauna and Jacuzzi situated next door at the Riviera Hotel.
We have a beautiful garden with lots of areas to sit and relax in, called the ‘Garden of New Beginnings’.
A summer house, which was donated by the Rotary Club, to be used in the future for therapies, arts & crafts, etc.
Every Thursday evening during the summer we usually have a barbeque where we invite our friends and supporters to join us. This is often followed by karaoke.
