April 2012
Service and Book of Remembrance
Sunday 29th April 2012
The Priory Church, Christchurch, at 3pm 'Dedication of the Year 2012 Book of Remembrance'
Throughout the year there are times when for all sorts of reasons we want to remember those who were special to us but who have passed away - family and friends.
Three charities - The Youth Cancer Trust, Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund and Macmillan Caring Locally, have joined together to give you an opportunity to remember someone special wherever or whenever they died by having their names inscribed in a beautiful Book of Remembrance which will then be dedicated at the Service on Sunday 29th April 2012 in The Priory Church, Christchurch at 3pm. We hope you will be able to join us.
(Please note - If you have already added a name to the book in the past, you do not need to add it each year.)
You are invited to attend the service and, if you wish, by making a donation for each entry, have the name of someone recorded in the Book of Remembrance. Your donation will go directly to the work of the three charities in their continuing care of patients and their families in Dorset.
There will be an opportunity to see your entry / entries in the Book of Remembrance during the two hours preceding the Service and immediately afterwards.
The Book of Remembrance will then be on display in the Priory Church throughout the year.
Note: Donations will be shared equally between the three charities once expenses have been deducted.

July
Tonefest (supporting YCT)
20th to 22nd July 2012
ToneFest is a unique small ‘Boutique’ festival with a Big ‘Vibe’ and because it’s small, there’s no queuing, you can park next to your tent and get up close to the amazing artists and performers that will entertain you. There's no stage barriers, stewards telling you can't do this and that and a very special feel. We attract some of the most amazing acts from all over the UK and believe that the quality of music, realistic ticket charge and very reasonable food and drink prices make us the perfect family festival. We're not interested at being the best in this & that awards, we just want to do what we want to do the way we want to do it. No corporate sponsors just simple good old fashion F.U.N. :-)
