Throughout the year there are times when for all sorts of reasons we wish to remember those who were special to us but who have sadly passed away.
Remember a loved one…
Three charities – The Youth Cancer Trust, Forest Holme Hospice Charity and Macmillan Caring Locally, have joined together to give you the opportunity to remember a loved one by having their name(s) inscribed in a beautiful Book of Remembrance, which is kept in a glass display cabinet in the Priory Church in Christchurch.
The book is dedicated each year and in 2016 this special service will take place on Sunday 15th May at The Priory Church, Christchurch at 3pm.
Have your loved one’s name inscribed…
To order an inscription in the Book of Remembrance, please download and complete the form and post it with your donation to one of the 3 listed charities.
Your donation will go directly to the work of the three charities in their continuing care of patients and their families in Dorset.
There will be an opportunity to view your inscription(s) during the two hours following the Service of Remembrance.
The Book of Remembrance is displayed all year round in a glass cabinet in the Priory Church. The pages are turned chronologically on each day of the year.
Note: Donations will be shared equally between the three charities once the small expenses have been deducted.
Guest Choir – La Nova Singers – a female vocal ensemble who perform an eclectic repertoire of classical, sacred, operatic and modern choral music.
The choir is based in Christchurch and all singers are trained in the Bel Canto technique by their director Michelle Nova.
