Our recent launch at Sainsburys Bradford on Avon as their Charity of the Year…
We had a fantastic weekend and raised a whopping £1843.67 over the 3 days raised via a balloon race, a tombola and collection.
Our fundraiser, Jean, looked magnificent in her Victorian dress which she made herself, and it certainly drew attention to us.
The staff at Sainsbury’s were extremely welcoming and very friendly, which made for a most enjoyable time.
Thank you to all the customers who were very supportive and generous, and really joined in with the spirit of the weekend.
The winner of the balloon race will be announced next week in store.
Anne-Marie, the PR Ambassador for the store is very proactive and has several events in the pipeline.
The forthcoming events include a quiz night for the staff and also a very unusual event – Sainsbury’s staff are going to lock the manager in the store after closing time until he phones enough people to raise a pre determined amount of money for Youth Cancer Trust!
