The charity was established after extensive research by Brenda and John with young cancer patients at Middlesex Hospital to find out what they would like if a charity was set up for them to provide peer support holidays.

The answers were simple….

“We would like somewhere where we can feel ‘normal’ for a while”

“Somewhere we can have fun!”

“Somewhere where we can do things we’ve never done before”

The house was named in memory of Brenda’s daughter, Tracy Ann, who died aged 21 from cancer. During Tracy’s illness, there was nowhere she could go to be with others of a similar age going through a similar experience.

Tracy Ann House is run today by Brenda and a team of dedicated helpers – find out more about the team.
