Research exploring the emotional impact of cancer | Youth Cancer Trust

Are you over the age of 16 and have received a cancer diagnosis in the last 12 months? If so, researchers from the University of Chester, Queen’s University of Belfast, University of Edinburgh, McGill University, Canada and the University of Sydney would like to invite you to take part in an interesting new study.

Purpose of the research

We are exploring the emotional impact of cancer. We know that receiving a cancer diagnosis can be a potentially distressing time and we are interested in finding out how people cope during this time.

What will participants be asked to do?

If you decide to take part, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire once every 3 months, for two years. Each questionnaire will take about 20 minutes to complete.  You will be free to stop taking part at any time.

Incentives

As a thank you for participating in the research, each time you complete a questionnaire, you will be entered in to a prize draw where you have the chance of winning a £50 Amazon voucher. Additionally, everyone who completes all questionnaire will be entered in to a prize draw where you have the chance of winning an iPad mini.
