International chef day | Youth Cancer Trust

Let’s celebrate our amazing YCT chef Ian and his yummy food πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

Ian attended Westminster college whilst employed as an apprentice chef at Richmond Hill Hotel. After successfully completing his City and Guilds qualification, he moved to the New Forest Hotel, gaining experience in country house hotels.

He later moved to The Fox Inn at Ansty, taking over as chef / patron. It was here he met Georgie and Max from Youth Cancer Trust and heard about the work of the charity. Over time they all became good friends and together they discussed the vision for relocating to Manor Farm Barn, part of that vision included employing Ian as the House Chef for the charity, which we are very pleased he accepted. Ian is a perfect fit for Youth Cancer Trust, creating delicious food, but also being welcomed by our guests, who love to stop by the kitchen for a chat.

‘I’m thoroughly delighted to be involved. I have met so many amazing and inspiring people. My desire is to cook fresh local food and see smiles on peoples faces. In my personal time I love being a dad and enjoy good food, music and following Fulham FC.’ Ian
